We had our 45th Reunion on Friday, August 7, and it was wonderful to see everyone. If you attended, you know what a great job Tom Yanno did with the Little Falls trivia. It was interesting that the guys (more than the girls) seemed to know the names of the police officers in Little Falls when we were in high school!!. Patty Nobile Castellano, Joanne Palkowski Macri, Bev Reno Schmidt and Tom Yanno did a great job with decorations and memorabilia. Dick Schmidt provided attractive centerpieces for each table to carry through on the purple and white theme. The food provided by the Knight’s Inn was tasty and plentiful. And 27 of your classmates enjoyed all of the efforts put in to make the evening a success. For those of you who didn’t make it, you missed a fun evening, and WE MISSED YOU.

We’re still working to get everyone on the LFHS Alumni website. If you haven’t registered yet, please do so. The instructions on “how to” are below. I hope to be able to put pictures on there from this year’s reunion. You’ll see that we have all aged, but gracefully, I think. And, anyway, who cares about the outside? Inside, everyone has grown into an interesting, thoughtful and caring maturity. I wonder if our teachers ever thought that would happen?!?

We’re looking for ideas on 1) how to make our 50th reunion different and more fun than ever, and 2) how to capture the imagination of those who haven’t found a way to attend so that they feel they absolutely must get to the one in 2014 or their life won’t be complete. Patty and crew are still willing to do the work, but Dick Schmidt has volunteered to be the email contact for any and all suggestions.
